Science

A man can no more diminish God’s glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, ‘darkness’ on the walls of his cell.
— C. S. Lewis

Few subjects are as difficult for a Christian to broach confidently as science. However, we believe that Science, the “systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment,” itself is based on the rational God of the Bible. Unfortunately, for Christians and Atheists alike, Science simply cannot answer the questions of origin, meaning, or morality. What came before the Big Bang? Why do we exist? How should we treat each other? Science may not be able to lead us to God, but it can explain an ordered world that He created, and it can give us a glimpse into the awesome power of our Lord.
