Podcast: What Divides America and the Church?

Like many Conservatives, I watched the events unfold at the capitol last week with a mixture of disappointment and sadness. Disappointment because Conservatism is about order and the rule of law. Sadness because I knew that the left would use this to justify their hatred for Conservatives. It galls me that a party that openly supports or otherwise justifies and rationalizes violence when it’s ANTIFA or Black Lives Matter doing the rioting, murders the unborn, and lectures us that civility is a form of white oppression…would then turn around and point an accusing finger the one time it comes from “our” side.

But such is the world we live in. Love your enemies. One day God will judge us all.

In our first podcast of 2021, we’ve changed our format a bit. We’re moving to half-hour episodes and soon we’ll have our podcasts available on iTunes for your convenience. We’d love for you to tune in and let us know what you think. Our goal is to dig deeper into the issues of the day and examine them through a biblical lens. Or, to put it another way, we’re talking politics but we’re doing so through the lens of Ephesians 6:12 – “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”

Our hope is that you may find it encouraging and thought-provoking.
